We Respect Our Customers

Victoria’s Secret & Co. is adamant that all of our customers, regardless of race, be treated with dignity and respect at all times. In December 2016, two customers at our Quintard Mall Victoria’s Secret store in Oxford, Alabama, experienced treatment that was not in line with our values or policies and should not have happened. This behavior did not represent who we are as a company or what we stand for. We immediately reached out to the impacted customers and expressed our deepest apologies. The store associate involved in this matter is no longer employed with the company.

In an ongoing effort to ensure we are doing everything we can to prevent future incidents of this nature, we are meeting directly with associates to provide further training to reinforce our inclusion values, our policies and our commitment to ensuring all Victoria’s Secret customers feel welcome and respected in our stores.

As an organization, we are committed to always doing what is right – it’s one of our core values and serves as a compass to guide us in everything we do so that we can get better together. By continuing to encourage a workplace environment where diversity and inclusion are valued, we believe we can serve our customers better, as well as retain highly talented associates, suppliers and vendors of different backgrounds and experiences.
